How the math works
Bonus = min(Deposit Ć Match%, MaxCap)Wagering = (Deposit + Bonus) Ć MultiplierExpected Loss = Wagering Ć (100% ā RTP)Net EV = Bonus ā Expected Loss
The tool models a scenario where you complete 100% of wagering on games with your chosen RTP. In practice, players don't always complete wagering ā the bonus may expire first. The tool doesn't model that; it shows the mathematically-clean case.
The expected loss calculation assumes you wager the full required amount using the specified RTP. Real sessions have variance ā you might get "lucky" and stop early with a profit (or unlucky and lose it all before completing wagering).
What this tool does NOT do
- ā It doesn't predict your specific session outcome.
- ā It doesn't account for game contribution rates (all games treated as 100% contribution). For live casino play, multiply "Wagering required" by 10.
- ā It doesn't factor in max-bet limits (ā¬5 with active bonus at Vega Stars 11).
- ā It doesn't consider bonus expiry (5 days at VegaStars 11) ā a common cause of not completing wagering in reality.
- ā It doesn't calculate free-spin value separately (welcome bonus includes 125 spins).

Bonus Calculator FAQ
Are the calculations accurate?
The formulas are mathematically correct for the specified assumptions (100% wagering completion, specified RTP, no game restrictions). Real outcomes vary due to variance.
Why does the tool show positive EV sometimes?
When bonus match% is high and wagering multiplier Ć house edge is low. E.g., 200% match on 96.71% RTP + 30Ć wagering = strong positive EV. VegaStars 11's Deposit 3 tier (200% match, 40Ć wagering) shows positive EV in the calculator ā but the 5-day expiry means many players don't complete wagering in practice.
Does the tool save my inputs?
No ā refresh the page and everything resets. If you want to save, use the Copy button to paste a summary into a notepad.
